CORVIN MIELLE DELACROIX
Belphegor from Katekyo Hitman Reborn
I want you to know that I see
all the reasons why you fail
all the reasons why you fail
Full name:. Corvin Mielle Delacroix
Nicknames: Corv, Vinny, Crow
Gender: Male
Age/ date of birth: 19, January 22
Birthplace: Atlas
Status and occupation: Neutral Neogena, Corvin is currently residing in a shabby apartment and working as a courier for one of the various businesses that plague Atlas city.
Virus Gene Progress: Stage III
Health: Due to the neogena virus that resides within Corvin's body he experiences shooting pains through out various portions of the day. They often send him to the ground clutching the afflicted appendage. To help deal with these pains Corvin has resorted to taking various painkillers. A slight mental dependence has been developed but due to the the genetic changes occurring in his body he has not developed a physical addiction. Corvin, like many of the Neogena, has fading eyesight. Corvin retains enough sight to see unaided through his left eye. Unfortunately his right eye has been stricken completely blind.
I've seen all your motivations
Ones for good and ones for hell
Ones for good and ones for hell
Ability: Corvin's special ability has been called Hunter's Sight on several separate occasions. Corvin, despite losing his sight, has gained the sixth sense that allows him to see in various shades of blue. Oddly enough, those afflicted with the virus show up in an all white coloring that allow Corvin to tell them apart from normal humans. While this comes in handy for anyone attempting to hunt or gather up the Neogena Corvin has no use for it. The ability he does have use for is his Hunter's Sights ability to lock on to various people. When someone is within Corvin's field of sight he is able to color them a dark shade of blue, bordering on black. Once this has happened the rest of the world loses clarity but it forces Corvin to trail his target. Even if he refuses to do so he will subconsciously attempt to make contact with those he has targeted. Corvin's odd ability make him the prime candidate for hunting down other Neogena's or attempting to recruit him. If word ever got out about his powers various factions would attempt to get the boy under their control.
Strength:
[+] Resourceful;; Corvin isn't the strongest, fastest, or the most agile out there. He makes up for these weaknesses by utilizing his quick wit and ability to think upon his feet. He often tricks would-be pursuers and stronger opponents. This tends to come in handy when one wants to avoid the cops after being seen speeding or getting away from pesky folks who want whatever he's couriering. He has a silver tongue and seems to be able to talk his way out of most problems he encounters.
[+] Escapist;; Corvin is very skilled in the art of running away. While he isn't fast or agile he has a knack for figuring out the best escape route in a matter of seconds. His brain is always running various scenarios plotting various ways to run from any pursuers that come his way as few have in his past. This ability could be attributed to his career as a courier and his habit of swerving through the busy streets of Atlas.
[+] Skilled Driver;; Possibly the only skill that Corvin has that he takes pride in. Corvin is a skilled driver and holds the respectable title of being the fastest courier in Atlas. He works out of Espas and is used to the busy streets filled with trucks and various other couriers taking laboratory findings from one lab to another.
Weakness:
[-] Inexperienced;; Corvin has very little experience in fighting and because of this when confronted is forced to run away, or ram his car into whatever is chasing him. If he is ever forced to engage in hand to hand combat he will resort to any tactic he has at his disposal to free himself.
[-] Ignorant;; Corvin is ignorant of the world around him. All that he knows about Neogena has been taught to him by the propaganda floating around the city. Because of this he avoids other Neogena like the plague and is terrified of the government, believing that they will try and steal him away in the middle of the night. He becomes confrontational when either of them approach him.
[-] Addicted;; Corvin is mentally addicted to painkillers. He believes that without them his disease will quickly begin to evolve into its final form. Whenever he goes without them for an extended period of time he becomes jittery and illogical. The mental effects of this place him in high stress situations which actually does speed along the disease causing his body to be wracked with pain.
Weapons: His car? In truth, Corvin has no skills with a weapon and prefers not to carry them for fear that someone will take them and use them against him. If worse ever came to worse he would most likely ram something with his car.
Inventory: Corvin carries a small crown like hair clip that once belonged to his mother and often times wears it. Besides this the only things he always has on his person are his wallet, bottle of painkillers, and car keys.
When you close your eyes to see
The truth that's inside me
The truth that's inside me
Length: 5'11''
Weight: 140 lbs.
Build: Corvin is lean and sinewy. While he isn't the strongest of men he is in rather good shape from lifting and transporting various things and can hold his own against those that have a similar fighting abilities to his own.
Voice: Corvin's voice is a soothing tenor, being higher than most males but not quite high enough to be feminine. Corvin has a beautiful voice when singing which he often does when alone.
Face: Corvin possesses a strong jawline and feminine angles on his face often causing most that see him to believe that he is a girl. It doesn't help that he often wears his mother's hair accessory.
Hair: Corvin has bright blonde hair that he wears long, covering his eyes at almost all times. He often has it layered and the shorter portions stick up no matter how hard Corvin tries to get them to lay flat. He often looks as if he has rolled out of bed.
Eyes: Corvin's eyes were the first part of his body to go through the change. Both eyes have taken on a predatory, reptilian appearance. They are a bright silver in color and the eye he is blind in has a strange pupil. Because of the eyes ability to see in an odd spectrum it has a layered pupil one horizontal and the other vertical giving it a cross like appearance. In time the other will change to imitate it, the faintest sign of the horizontal pupil is already showing itself.
Scars and/or birthmarks: At the moment Corvin has no scars worthy of mention, he does have a few upon his hand from his tinkering. He does, however, have a small blotchy birth mark located on the left side of his torso, over the center of his fifth rib.
Clothing style: Corvin prefers to dress as stylish and as comfortably as he can all while staying within his thin budget. He can usually be seen wearing a shirt that clings to his thin frame. The shirt is often time a solid, bright color. Corvin has a fascination with pastel colors and adores light blues. He more often than not can be seen wearing skinny fit jeans riddled with holes, he prefers having enough mobility though so they don't fit as tightly as most would like. A fur lined hoody, possibly the most expensive thing in his wardrobe, is usually brought along for the ride. It is pitch black and color and the hood is usually laid back making it appear as if Corvin has a large, fur lined collar. The fur is faux if the eco-friendly were wondering. His usual choice in footwear are thin shoes that are black in color. As for accessories Corvin often wears a tiara/crown shaped clip that was once his mother's. Besides that a series of homemade bracelets.
Descriptive appearance: Corvin is of average height and just a tad bit underweight. The boy, yes boy, has several feminine features that often cause embarrassing situations between him and men, especially when they see him from a distance. His thin frame is virtually blemish free as his inability to afford any sort of junk food on his thin budget leave him eating healthily, if at all. His bright silver eyes are often covered by his hair for fear of others seeing them and finally discovering him for what he truly is. He is, mercifully, able to see out of them, or at least the one that is not stricken by 'blindness'. His hand are calloused from hours of working on his car and his nimble fingers are scarred from various accidents that have occurred when he was working upon it. Various, weak signs of his emotions are begining to appear and only get worse with every pain he suffers. A strange, bone like object can be felt in the underside of his left arm and his canine teeth are slowly growing longer. He is terrified of the day when he sees these aspects fully manifest.

Likes:
[+] Cars;; Namely, his car. Corvin has an obsession with his car as it is his only means of survival and the only livelihood he has. He spends whatever money he can on modifying his car and enhancing it's performance. The boy's a real motor head, though most wouldn't expect it.
[+] Working;; Corvin doesn't so much like working as he likes and excuse to go fast. He also enjoys being known as the best courier in town and often uses it as his tagline when looking for work.
[+] Cute girls;; Let's be honest now, all boy's like girls and Corvin, as feminine as he is, loves'em. He often tries to impress them in whatever way he can.
[+] Loud music;; Corvin adores music with every fiber of his being. It is one of the few joys he knows he'll have after he transforms into whatever he is meant to, he thinks he'll turn into some weird lizard monster. Music is often blaring out of his car along with the sound of his voice.
[+] Lounging;; Corvin enjoys laying about more than anything. When not on the clock he can often be found laying around in the oddest of places. He particularly enjoys driving out into one of the less populated areas of Atlas and laying on the top of his car.
Dislikes:
[-] Agents;; Corvin dislikes agents simply because they chase him without any sort of reason. He has been able to shake them off for a time and has gone without seeing them for a few years, thanks to the efforts of his mother.
[-] Neogenas;; Corvin only knows what the government wants him to know about the strange afflicted people. The young man thinks that all of them are some sort of monsters and that once he reaches the last stage he'll become a monster. He avoids them like the plague often time walking away whenever he sees one with his ability.
[-] Pain;; Corvin doesn't like pain, it frightens him and makes him feel weak. Because of this he takes painkillers at various times of the day, though he never actually takes more than the bottle says he is still mentally reliant upon them.
[-] Fighting;; Corvin dislikes fighting for the simple reason of being a terrible fighter. He tries to avoid conflict by talking his way out of it or running like mad. Those seem to work most of the time... Not all though.
[-] Getting lost;; Getting lost means a few extra minutes off his time and Corvin hates being late with a fiery passion, at least when it relates to his title of being the best.
Phobia's/ fears: Corvin's biggest fear is descending into his last form of the illness and becoming some sort of giant lizard monster.
Ambition/ desires: Corvin has no long time goals since he believes that he'll eventually turn into a monster. His only desire is to enjoy what little time he has left before turning into one.
Descriptive Personality: Corvin, for all of the turmoil that has gone on in his relatively short life, is rather cheerful person. Not the happy, bubbly sort of happy but the kind that rubs off easily on others. A smile can usually be seen plastered to his face and a maniacal one usually pops up whenever he's breaking the speed limit. He has a penchant for laughing and always seems to be willing to help out, though he'll often demand something in return one should never take him seriously when he does. Because of his short life expectancy he has a habit of ignoring any sort of rules placed before him. His rebellious and happy attitude often times grates on the nerves of others, particularly his employers. He has very little respect for authority and often displays it. The boy rarely shows it when he's upset, often burying it deep down and suppressing it. He is, however, quick to anger and can be easily irritated whenever someone grates upon his nerves. When angry he typically becomes more reckless and often forgets his cowardice. Yes, Corvin is a bit of a coward, especially when it comes to Neogena and Agents. When he encounters them he'll often take off running. Though, when the chips are down he can hold back his terror and prove himself to be somewhat heroic. Corvin has no desire to be a hero however.

Family Tree:[/li][li] Father: Shane Delacroix| Scientist| Alive
[/li][li] Mother: Janessa Delacroix | Stage II| Deceased
Past: Corvin's past is relatively normal, up to a point. His mother and father had met after Shane had become a scientist in one of the men labs in Atlas. Their relationship was a whirlwind of emotions and eventually they were engaged, Janessa's stomach swollen with their first and only child. At the time Janessa had not been diagnosed with the virus and when Corvin was born neither was he. Life was grand for a time and the family was truly happy. That was until Janessa's virus began to mutate her. The first change was a small horn that appeared on her head. Shane, being a scientist first, was instantly trying to get his wife into his work and onto an operating table. After multiple refusals he became irritated and informed his lab that his wife had the disease.
After a botched kidnapping attempt Corvin's mother took her son and left her husband. With no where to go and little to their name they left for the only place that was even remotely safe for Neogena, Piseus. While there Corvin attended school and his mother worked as a waitress. They lived in a small shack but at least they were safe. Corvin's own mutations wouldn't come forth for quite some time and it wasn't until he was a preteen. It was at this time that Corvin's eyes began to take on their odd appearance and he grew his hair out to cover them. Besides this occurrence, nothing happened for quite some time and Corvin was able to live a normal childhood, far from the government. At the age of fourteen however his father had tracked them down with a group of scientist looking to experiment upon both his mother and him. Once more Corvin and his mother were forced to leave their home and returned to the country of Corvin's birth.
Happiness did not follow though and not long after Janessa passed away due to the disease. With nowhere to go Corvin was placed in the care of a close friend of his mother. He was an older man that owned a small garage. William, as he went by, became the father figure that Corvin never had and took him under his wing teaching all that he could about cars and driving. It didn't take long for Corvin to become fascinated with cars and their inner workings, his scientific mind, similar to his father's, finally awakening. For the remainder of his youth Corvin lived with William working in the garage. He purchased an older car from a junkyard and fixed it up. Life was good once more and Corvin couldn't have been happier. His sickness, however, decided that happiness wouldn't be for him.
Close to his eighteenth birthday his vision began to go and his eyes began to change even more. Corvin was terrified and didn't know what to do. He wouldn't know how William would react to his adopted son becoming a monster and so he did what most would do in his situation. Corvin began to look for a way to support himself without the man's help. He didn't want to expose him to a world of danger and government secrets. It didn't take too long for Corvin to line up a job as a courier. He worked as one with his car and quickly made a name for himself. While he was reckless he got results which earned him a sort of respect. It wasn't long until he got a job at one of the larger firms Corvin moved out on his own.
Once Corvin got out on his own things simply got worse. He resorted to painkillers to try and delay and suppress his daily pains and eventually became addicted to them. He often takes two in the morning, two in the afternoon, and three at night to help him sleep, never more out of fear of overdose, and never less. He fears that the agents are closing in on him and because of it is considering moving, though does not have the money to do so. So instead he simply sits and waits for a chance to escape the hellish nightmare he's been caught in for the past fifteen years.
