She was feeling so sick. Hannah was walking through the park with her head down, eyes focused on the stones she was walking on. Her head was pounding with every step she was doing. With one hand pushed on the side of her head she was walking with small steps. Only a few more steps and she would be next to a simple park bench. Slowly she sat down and bended forward as she rested with her elbows on her knees. It normally always worked against the nausea she was having so often. Today wasn’t her lucky day however and it her stomach did not calm down. In the morning she had felt wonderful, she could handle everything in the world. Now she know those moments were only for a short time and she could get sick in only a matter of time, but she had felt so hopeful in the morning that this day finally was going to be a good day. Nothing of that was true and nothing of that wonderful feeling was left now. The only thing she wanted to do is go home and sleep. It was the only cure that helped against her headache but it was only temporary.
Suddenly she jumped up and ignored her headache for a moment as another feeling was worrying her more. She made her way around the bench, closer to the bushes behind the bench and fell on her knees. A soar taste came in her mouth as her already small breakfast was making its way out of her mouth. Heavily breathing and with disgusting sounds she emptied her stomach in the bushes and sat there for a few moments as she was shivering of disgust of the bad taste in her mouth. “Yuck.” She said more to herself then to anyone else, not that she needed to explain why she was saying it. Her stomach slowly was calming down, but Hannah was feeling weak and shaky because of the throwing up. She still had that horrible headache and she carefully stood up while she needed the support of the bench to stand straight. Walking around the bench again, having the support of the bench again she sat back on the bench again as she felt how the warm sun was shining bright on her skin. Her cheeks were feeling hot and she placed her hand on her cheek as she leaned back against the bench, letting her head fall backward as she enjoyed the warmth. Her skin of her face was feeling hot but Hannah was shivering because she was cold. Another symptom that showed she had a fever or some random Neogena moment. She had given her headache and spontaneous nausea the name Neogena moment because she could explain it to her grandma without many words. Her grandma would understand then that she did not needed to come with all kind of tips or tricks to try to make her feel better. Those things never worked. There simply was no cure for the virus she was having, or at least not yet.
Hannah ignored the few passers as she sat there on the bench, looking like she was sleeping. The sun was to bright, so to closer her eyes she could at least make things more bearable for her head. No idea how long she was sitting there she suddenly looked up with her eyes pushed tights, to prevent any bright light hurt her eyes and give them the time to adjust to the light again. Oh, she just wanted to go home, but for that she needed to walk a long way because the house of her grandma was located on the edge of the town, nearby the nature she loved the most. Hannah on the other hand always had liked the busy places but the more she was here in Atlas, how sicker she became, she started to like the isolation. It was so peaceful and there was no one who was looking at her because of her strange behaving.

SEIRYU DATHÍ X X [25] [male] [Government] [Head of Atlas] _______________________________________________________[/center] It was days like this that Seiryu could just sit down and relax a little. Usually he wasn't one for sneaking out of the government building under cover, but the unusually high demand for answers that he didn't have was starting to have a negative effect on his mood. Not wanting to influence his follower's moods with his own, he saw escaping as the only option. Don't get him wrong; he wasn't running away. He just saw it as a temporary solution that would allow himself time to mull things over.
Many of the people had started bombarding him with questions dealing with the Neogene virus. He was no scientist! How was he supposed to know how the cure was coming along, or how effective it would be? He didn't even know who was meant to be making the darned cure, such was the classification on the progress. He sighed and decided to lose himself in his music, allowing the calming sounds of acoustic beats drown out all other noises.
Wandering around aimlessly just came naturally to him, and he soon found himself in a place he didn't even know existed. Sure, he probably knew it on the map, but that didn't mean he'd actually visited every place he governed. There was just too much of it and so little time to do it in. There were no outstanding landmarks either, so he couldn't even recognise it that way. His golden eyes scanned the area of what seemed to be a park, and he subconsciously shifted his 'flu' mask to a more comfortable position. You never knew who could be out here...
Finally after some momnets of searching, he found a bench to rest his feet. He hadn't realised it until now, but he had probably been walking for quite a while, and he could feel his feet already aching to be rested off the ground. He approached the wooden furniture, noting that someone was already sitting there. Smiling inwardsly, he supposed a little company was probably better than wandering around looking for another seat, and so he stood to the side of her, effectivly blocking the sunlight from her view as he looked down to her with a soft, firendly smile.
"Hey there, is this seat taken?" He waited patiently for an answer, ignoring the slight burning sensation in his heels that told him if he didn't sit down soon, his feet might go on worker's strike. Of course he wouldn't push himself into her presence; if she didn't want him there, he wouldn't go there. Especially as she looked as bad as she did. [/size]

Hannah was avoiding to look at every person that was passing by but when she noticed someone came closer and even was standing there, as his shadow was revealing were he was standing she looked up, glad she did not needed to look up in the bright sun. In front of her a man was standing, who seemed to be completely normal, expect of the gasmask he was wearing and for a moment Hannah felt angry coming up. So this was what would come of the world? Every person was going to wear a gasmask to prevent to become sick like every other Neogena. How foolish because the virus was not being spread by the air. Not even close to that. However the man did not seemed to be afraid of her, and even had asked her if the rest of the bench was free to sit on. Hannah nodded. “No it is still free, go ahead.” She leaned back again with her back against the bench and sighed as she saw how he sat down. For some reason there was something interesting about this person, she knew him from something. Or at least he looked like someone she had seen before. However her mind failed to recognize it and for a moment she just stared at him. Glancing from the mask, to his face and then to the two bandages on his forehead.
When she noticed she was staring at him, and that most people would get annoyed by it she looked away in shame. Instead she looked back to the ground and placed her hand on her head and mumbled a few words that are unable to hear for the person next to her. Most of it was cursing at herself for being so stupid and that she wanted to go home, or at least that her headache would be less bothersome.

SEIRYU DATHÍ X X [25] [male] [Government] [Head of Atlas] _______________________________________________________[/center] Seiryu was glad he hadn't made her nervous with his appearance, and gratefully sat next to her with a soft sigh. He rolled his ankles, looking to them to make sure his feet were still attached or if they had run away to find a better owner. Thankfully, they were still there and he couldn't help but grin to his saviour. To his surprise, she was looking at him. But he was unperterbed; returning her gaze. His eyes were soft, glowing in his smile hidden behind his mask.
Did he remind her of someone? That he doubted - he wasn't ashamed to say he was pretty unique in the look department, though he supposed the same might not be for his actual facial features (even if half of them were hidden). Well, there was a possibility that she actually recognised him. It was such a weird sensation, having people know you and even know things about you, when you hadn't even seen them before. But he was used to it by now.
He was thrown from his train of thought when she suddenly looked to the floor. Had she recognised him in the end? He tilted his head a little in thought before slowly looking to the front. Well, she hadn't said anything that gave her thoughts away, so it was hard to decipher why she had looked at him that way.
He still smiled, glad to just be in someone's company who didn't ask him twenty questions about something he had no clue on. Though, after a short while he decided it was too quiet and tried to glance to the girl out of the corner of his eye.
"Hey... Are you alright?" She had her head in her hands, and didn't look too good. He leaned forward, as if to put a hand on her back, but stopped himself. She looked like she had a headache... Was she one of them? Would she disapear soon, like his friends had? He put out that thought as soon as it materialised. No, he would stop that happening.
One thing he did know, was that their pain didn't have any relief medication; If it hurt, they had no way of making it better. He almost felt helpless in this situation. _______________________________________________________ Muse ~ Misplaced FEELING ~ Curious WORDS ~ 374 OOC ~ Haha, no worries~! :][/size]

”I’m not feeling very well.” Hannah said as she avoided looking at the man and her voice was only sounding like a whisper. “Headache”. She said without willing to go into more details about it. Someone who was wearing a mask like that in one of the most infected places in the world surely wasn’t the right person to talk about her illness. There was no way that it would pop in her mind that this person who was sitting next to her on the bench in such a simple park was a quite high ranked person. Such things never would happen to her. She was too normal and to random to know such important persons. How wrong and how naïve she was about that. Hannah rubbed with her hand a few times on the side of her head before she looked back to the man and showed a weak smile, as if she wanted him to believe she was fine. “Why are you wearing that mask?” It was out of her mouth before she really noticed what she had said and then looked a bit embarrassed about it. It had been on her mind so much that when she had wanted to say something else this was coming out. Now she only could hope he wasn’t going to get angry because of it. Then she wondered, how many other persons would have asked him that, or how many of them were just staring at this remarkable view? When she glanced around she saw how some people were staring at them. They sure must have been looking strange together. She with her unnatural blue hair and eyes, and some did knew she was a Neogena in the first stage, and then this man. Who was looking like an man that was more than average handsome, but he was wearing a gasmask. On such a warm day as this. When she noticed that she almost fell sympathy for the stranger. It sure must be warm with such a mask on. “Why not put it off?” She asked with a weak smile on her face. “On a warm day like this it should be a torture to wear it.” Not completely knowing if this man really had a reason to wear it, probably he had, and just said something to break the silence between the two.

SEIRYU DATHÍ X X [25] [male] [Government] [Head of Atlas] _______________________________________________________[/center] Seiryu felt sorry for the younger woman; he'd completely forgotten to bring any painkillers with him, and felt partially guilty that he couldn't help her. His eyes quickly ran over her form to ascertain whether she was in need of medical help, but as he looked closer, he started to notice her for what she might be. That blue hair... Well, he wasn't one to talk. And he certainly couldn't go around accusing everyone with a headache to be infected. No, he had to keep his cool and think rationally. She could or could not be a Neogene, but either way, his opinion of her wouldn't change.
He was about to ask if she wanted a drink, maybe to cool down from the heat of the sun, but was beaten to it with an outright question. He couldn't help but to stop and blink in her presence. She hadn't come off as a very outgoing person, but yet again he was forced to remind himself of judging books by their covers. She even looked a little shocked herself, though he noticed she was quick to regain her confidence and even suggested to him to take off his one defense. It had been an innocent enough question, but she had unknowingly put him in an awkward position. With all the people looking on at them, he knew some of them recognized him. It was hard to walk somewhere in Atlas and not be known by at least one person. His reputation and image was on the line just by those words, even if their intention had been kind.
But her smile... It reminded him a little of his mother when she had been ill and close to her deathbed. As he stood next to her weakening form, she would always smile that very smile, and say everything would be alright. After she had passed, it had been hard for him to trust her words. She was gone, so how would everything be okay? But as time passed, he opened up to new ideas, and found meaning in her words. It had given him strength to step up and reach out to the people; to lead them into new times.
He returned the smile, though there was renewed strength behind it at the thought of his mother. He realized the expression would be lost on her because of his mask, and felt torn between duty and his own well being. After a brief inner-battle, he succumbed to what he believed always came first.
"Ha ha, it is pretty hot...". He ran a hand through his hair, pulling it from it's loose hold, allowing it to fall freely over his features. Maybe with the drastic transformation could he be unrecognizable;e to the public. He had run away from his bodyguards, after all. After taking a deep breath through the comforting material, he slowly undid the straps keeping it in place. He carefully pulled the mask from his face, almost as if he feared some evil bacteria would jump on his lips as soon as they were free. Once he declared himself safe from invasion, he sighed with relief at the fresh air that hit his lower face.
Dropping back into the bench, he rested each elbow on the back of the seat and looked to his conversation partner. He was a completely different man from before. With his plasters covered by his semi-long blue hair, his face free from obstructions (with the exception of a few tufts of hair) and his glowing smile radiating from his full figured lips, it would be hard to recognize him least you got a good look. Of course, there would be the odd curious pedestrian who would look upon the blue-haired pair and maybe recognize him from his striking and unusual gold eyes, but he hoped it wouldn't cause too much hassle. Whether this girl didn't know who he was, or she knew and didn't care was fine with him.
He wondered if he could help her with conversation. He hadn't intended for a full-blown chat with a stranger when he had started out on this little escapade, but she looked like she needed the distraction."I always used to get ill as a kid, so it sorta grew on me to wear a flu mask..." It was mostly the truth. He didn't know a single person, Neogene or not, who didn't get ill as a child. He hadn't lied, but had purposely left out the Neogene connection. If she was indeed one of them, he didn't want to offend her. Plus, so far he hadn't caught it from her, and so believed he sorta owed her one for suggesting he take the mask off.
"I'm sorry, but I don't think I properly introduced myself" He held out a hand to offer a greeting. "Name's Seiryu. Seiryu Dathí."

As she had asked him to take the mask off she hadn’t even toughed of it what his reaction would be. She surely hadn’t expected him to really take of the mask and revealing the rest of his face. So her eyes were following his movements as he slowly took off the mask that was covering the lower part of his face to save it from any danger in the sky. Would she be a danger for him for being a Neogena? As far as she knew the virus didn’t spread out like a normal flue: bacteria in the sky. The virus itself only was being brought over to a child. At least that was all what she had learned by reading. No one really had informed her about it, not even her own father. She missed him. How was Boracca, now that she was gone? How would the people react that she was gone already for such a long time? So many questions were wandering through her mind, and only because this man was wearing that mask and decided to put it off? How awkward. It was almost amusing to see how he was pulling the mask from his face as he was convincing himself there was no danger. Hannah looked down, mentally praying she was no danger for him at all. But in those short seconds that he had removed the mask nothing seem to happen and as he was taking a breath of fresh air she was sighing in relieve. What had she expected? That he would fall dead for her feet just as he would take off the mask? “This is much better, right?” She said as she looked up at the man. His whole feature had changed by only removing the mask, but it sure was a positive way. Hannah couldn’t quite understand why he would put on a mask like that to hide the half of such a handsome face, but then the man explained it why he was wearing it. Often getting ill as a child, made him to wear a mask. Hannah nodded in understanding, she hardly was getting ill before she the virus was involving itself, now she was getting sick so often without any good reason she could understand why he was wearing a mask. He was granted with something that could help him. Hannah doubted that a mask like that would help her getting rid of sick feelings and horrible headaches.
He suddenly said that he hadn’t introduced himself before. She could only slap herself because she didn’t have done the same. When he reached out his hand in a greeting she moved closer to fold her own hand in his but when he said his name she froze. His first name already rang a bell but when he also said his second name Hannah only managed to look at him as she stayed in the same position, her hand only a few centimeters away from his but she hesitated to touch him. He was a important person. He was working for the government. She was well updated about what was going on in the government also because her father was one of them. This man who was sitting next to her was the leader of Atlas. That explained why some people were staring at them. They weren’t looking at them because of their strange feature, but because they had recognized the man. In only a matter of seconds her mind was digging through the memories if this man, Seiryu, had any relations with her father, because if so, then he maybe would have known her as a young child. In the time she still was blonde and that her eye color also was having another color. It could blow up every cover she was having her, as the most persons did not seem to recognize of even know her at all. Yet she could not remember it if her father knew this man or not. He wasn’t really the type that would talk so open about his job when he was home.
Then suddenly she touched his hand, folding hers in his and shook it softly as she said her name: “Hannah Leah.” Instead of giving a fake name she had decided to just be honest. What could he do to her anyway? They were not in Boracca so she was save here. There were so many other infected people here, she was only a small part of it.

SEIRYU DATHÍ X X [25] [male] [Government] [Head of Atlas] _______________________________________________________[/center] Seiryu wondered for the second time since their meeting if he had done the right thing. Should he have given a false name? No, that wasn't thinkable in this situation where a few people were watching on. Many had continued walking, deciding to leave the young man to his rare free-time, but he could still feel eyes watching him even more now that he'd done the unthinkable - he'd risked his health for a 'nobody'. Of course he didn't think of her that way, but he knew that's what others thought; she had no political standing.
Or did she?
He mentally sighed with relief when she took the offered hand, glad he hadn't scared her away with just a name. But as she gave him her name, it was his turn to freeze. "Hannah... Leah?". It wasn't quite as drastic or didn't seem as long to him as when she had stalled; he simply looked to her face and held on her hand for a fraction too long before returning it to his combat trouser pockets. He looked to his feet with a smile that revealed a few of his white teeth. So, it was true; the old geezer had moved his daughter to Atlas, and what a small world it was! Atlas was far from small, especially with the growing number of Neogenian immigrants, yet he had managed to casually bump into the Head's daughter like it was an everyday occurrence.
It was her father that inspired him to lead his life as he had. Of course his own father had a role in that too, but it was the Head of Government that had drove him to find a cure for the infected. He believed in his views for the Neogene's; it's not their fault they are what they are. He wondered if his daughter was the inspiration to him for those views, and couldn't help to look at her with a soft smile. If that was the case, then he should be thanking her for allowing him to live his life with his position.
As he looked to her, it hit him hard and he almost forgot to breathe. If she hadn't given her name, he wouldn't have been able to see it. Past the unusually coloured hair and eyes, he saw a pretty blonde child, looking up to her father as he smiled. Seiryu had only been a small part of the government and had only just made his resolve to start his campaign, but the image had burned into is memory. His obvious love towards his daughter had only increased his opinion of the man, and he was glad he could make her smile. Little did he know of the pain behind the man's smile till he was told later of his wife's misfortune. He couldn't help to see himself in a similar situation as his daughter, and vowed he would end situations like theirs with the cure.
He thought they were the same; even their hair colour was a scarily close match. But he knew differently. She was infected. The blonde hair hadn't been dyed and she wasn't in Itene for a long vacation visiting relatives. The head of the government had been forced to make such a heart-breaking decision, and to even keep it hidden from everyone? But now he knew. Seiryu held a secret in the palm of his hands which he knew a few political big-wigs would love to get their grubby hands on. He subconsciously put a hand to his mouth, attempting to hold the filter that wasn't there. He blinked in momentary confusion before sighing and looking to the girl with a soft smile. He had no regrets about his actions, but at that moment he wished he kept it on just so he had something to do with his hands.
He looked to the sky, leaning his neck against the back of the bench and moved his hands behind his head. "Hannah..." he repeated the name just to make it seem more real. "It sure has been a while eh? A good few years I should think...". He said almost to himself. He didn't expect her to remember him; she had been young and more focused on her father. Yet he remembered the times when he had taken a moment from work to join her father in entertaining his little girl. He'd quickly learned that kids could get easily bored when their father worked long hours and their mother was sick. She'd made him wonder if he had ever been like that...

This man, seem to recognize the name and Hannah could slap herself for being so stupid. Bye bye happy life, bye bye save hideout. She already saw it in her mind how magazines would publish that the daughter of the government of Boracca, who was strongly against any Neogena in that land, was infected by the virus. Not that it was her own fault, her mother was the one who was infected, and she simply brought that over by the birth of Hannah. Sadly she was like a ticking time bomb. The paparazzi and journalist would love to write a story about it and Hannah sighed. “That’s me.” Things couldn’t get worse anyway so what was the point of trying to save her ass by saying she only made a joke. The silence that followed was too long for her to handle and she let go of his hands, as he placed them in his pockets. Hannah placed her hands in her lap and looked down at them.
When she finally had toughed what to say and she looked back up to the man, he already started to speak. Again he said her name and then he said it had been such a long time. Confused she stared into the brown eyes of his and tried to remember. It seemed he had seen her when she was younger, which probably means he had seen her as she normally was: With her original hair color and eyes. Yet his voice did not reveal any mean comment, it even sounded nice and it took her some time to realize this person really meant it. Yet she could not remember him. “I don’t know.” Hannah said as she looked at his face. That blue hair sure was easy to notice, not everyone was having it as the most were having it in a normal boring color. But these days it was difficult to see if a hair color was died or if it was the cause of the virus. She stared at him and every detail of his face as she tried to remember him. He did seem to know her so he must have been working together with her father.
As she was staring at him trying to remember him she was browsing through her mind to all the people that had visit them at home or when she needed to come with her father to his work, because her mother was unable to take care of her. Then she realized that he always be the one that was keeping her busy when she had no one to be around. Her mother most of the time was too sick to even come out of her bed while her father needed to work. Still it was all foggy and she hardly had much memories about this person but at least she knew him, and he did remembered her too.
“Please, people should not know I’m here. It would ruin everything and destroy the reputation of my father.” She said as she wanted to explain him that this needed to be their little secret. She did not wanted to think what would happen if people would notice who she was.

SEIRYU DATHÍ X X [25] [male] [Government] [Head of Atlas] _______________________________________________________[/center] Seiryu had not expected her to remember him, and so was able to hide the disapointment. It was always a little dis-heartening when a young one doesn't remember times you spent with them, yet he could recall every small detail of their encounters. He remained smiling even at the saddening trail of thoughts. He reminded himself that he had probably changed quite a bit too; his hair would have been short and at the time he had only been wearing standard flu masks that the everday person could get their hands on during times of illness.
He was about to tell her to forget he said anything. He couldn't get away with it being a joke - it would be too weird to say you knew someone then say you didn't really. But he didn't want her to hurt herself trying to remember something that was quite a while ago, she did have a headache which he didn't want to make worse. Though he wondered if he was doing a good enough job of distracting her from it. He looked back to her to say it was okay, when he saw something in her eyes. It couldn't be that she actually rememberd him could it?
He was answered with her silent plee. So, she didn't quite remember him then.Or, if she did, she certainly didn't remember him as a person; just as an image in her memories. He couldn't help but blink at her request. Keep quiet? He was drawn back at the absurdity of what she was suggesting. Though, he had to admit, there were a few governement heads he knew of that would gladly take advantage of her delicate situation. He felt it building inside of his stomach before he had a chance to react. Seiryu burst into a peal of laughter.
He held an arm to his waist and slapped his thigh with the other repeatedly, though made sure he wasn't too out of order; he didn't want to create a scene. He wiped a tear away and sighed out once he'd calmed down slightly, before looking to her with a beaming smile; something people rarely saw because of his mask collection. "You really don't know me, do you?" his smile lessened at his own words. "I would never even think of doing something to harm you or your father. You're like family..." He smiled earnestly, wondering if it'd be too much if he moved to hug her. He'd always been quite a forward, touchy guy, but after all she was going through, he didn't know if she would take it too well...

She looked surprised at the man as he started to laugh, it did caused that a few passengers were looking at them, surprised by the sudden outburst and Hannah glanced at them before she looked back at Seiryu. Yet she was making any move to calm him down. He really did seem to find something amusing of what she had said and for a moment she felt irritated about it. It was really serious that no one else needed to know it about her. About the virus. Because if someone would find out about her and her mother then it would be an hell on earth for her and her family. But she did knew this man, weak memories in her mind were telling here this man was okay. “I do know that you always were cheering me up whenever I was bored when my father was working and mother was sick. She never was able to come out of bed on those days which meant I needed to amuse myself on those days.” Yes she did knew how annoyed she felt when her father said her he would bring her with him at his work. Everything was interesting to see, but it all was too advanced. She never understood anything of it. No matter how interesting things could be then, they were getting boring. There always were a few people that were trying to keep her busy, but most of those persons were unknown for the younger Hannah. She still did not knew most of them. Especially now she was here, and they were almost on the other side of the world.
Even if this man was related to her somehow because of her father, then what was he doing here: So far away from the work place. “Why are you here? ” She asked to fast, before she realized that he wasn’t anymore working for her father and that he instead was working here in Atlas. “Ow sorry.” She said as she shook her head. “You’re working here. I got a bit confused about everything. Sorry.” This man she remembered from her past was completely different from what he now was, it was something that she needed to remind herself. She wasn’t the only one who grown older and moved on.
“So.. How did you became this?” She said as she made a waving motion with her hand as she tried to explain everything with just the word this. She just was curious, but she didn’t even knew what he was doing in the period he had worked for her father. He only was a few years older then her so it couldn’t be that drastic and huge. It surprised her that someone like that still could become the head of Atlas. Especially with the things compared that she had accomplished in her life. Mostly nothing as she didn’t really had the time to do something. Most of the time she was sick and on the other times she needed to stay inside.

SEIRYU DATHÍ X X [25] [male] [Government] [Head of Atlas] _______________________________________________________[/center] Seiryu thought back to the times when he too had once followed his own father around the work place in the government building, though he supposed he was probably more interested in the work than Hannah had been; it was his ideal future, after all. It had been then that he had first met Hannah. At the time had didn't think anything of it; they had both been young, he of thirteen, and she had been around five. Of course his father insisted that he play with her, to occupy them both while their fathers worked, and he had complied seeming as there wasn't much else he could do. But that had not been the only time he had met her. He had been eighteen, and newly recruited by the government. Of course he was the lowest possible rank, and so mainly did the worst jobs available. Except for the one job he looked forward to; looking after the head's daughter. It was a less than frequent occurrence, so he rarely got to see her. But it made his job worth-while. He felt he could even connect with her on a high level; both their father's were high level government officials, and both their mother's were sick with the virus. But they rarely talked about it, silently deciding it wasn't a nice topic to bring up.
He patiently listened to her questions and answered them easily. It was in his nature to return questions simply and to the point; it was also in his job description. He became a bit concerned when she apologized repeatedly, and he waved his hand as if to ward them off. "There's no need to apologize - This is what I wanted." he said with an earnest smile. He had fought tooth and nail for this position, just as someone below him will do in the future. Hopefully he will have risen again by then, to Head of Government.
He didn't mind the questioning, in fact, he was pretty comfortable with it. for the past three years he'd been targeted by the media, asking questions on how he felt and what he was going to do for the people. As long as the microphone wasn't shoved so close to his nose that he could smell the previous person it had been used on, he was fine.
As Hannah continued, he followed her hand motion and looked all around him. To the people walking by, the birds in the sky and the trees gently flowing with the breeze. He assumed she was referring to his title, and a faint but genuine smile graced his exposed lips. He had forgotten all about possibly catching the virus or any other illnesses; Hannah just had that kind of effect on him.
"Would you believe me when I say hard work and determination?" He half joked. Of course they had been part of it, but everyone in this line of study had to have those qualities. He ran a hand through his stark blue hair before pulling down part of his fringe in front of his eyes so he could look at it. He had never dyed it once in his lifetime. It hadn't even changed part way through childhood like a neogena's would. He had even been tested for the virus and it had come up negative. There was simply no explanation for the bizarre hair. But it had suited him just fine. It stood out. No one could forget who he was once he announced himself. But alas, the answer to her question was not his hair either. He returned his gaze to her and grinned. "It was you who inspired me." He paused slightly for dramatic effect. "And her. He too helped. That little one definitely" He started to look around and nod at the passer-bys before returning his golden gaze to her. "All of the people of Atlas gave me hope for this world, and for the unfortunate people within it. I wanted to help them, to help people like you and me who know of the sorrow of having a loved one become ill because of this virus, and even die. I became this-" He waved his hand much like Hannah had done moments before. "-So that I can stop the sadness, and help those where it's needed."

Hannah also noticed that the two were looking really allot like each other. They both were having that strange hair color, but she knew he had it from himself. It wasn’t dyed and it did not changed because of a infection. She remembered how she had asked him many questions about his hair when she was little. Was this a little curse of the virus to change her hair in exactly the same color as his just because she had made fun of it? It would be really ironical. Also both her mothers had died. Now Hannah did not knew if his mother died because of the infection of the virus or just another reason, but in the end everything it was the same. Their fathers both were working for the government. Hannah never really bothered about it, not that she had really much attention for this person anyway even when he was younger. They were just play buddies that was all she was thinking of back then. They needed to go with their father to his work, they were bored and played together. Just to spend the time. Now she realized that she did liked his company. Different from her he really had been interested in everything around him on the workplace. That was obvious, especially now she saw him sitting in front of her. He had been become the head of Atlas, that really was a remarkable achievement. She admired it that he had something he fought for to make his dream come true. It reminded of herself. What had she for dreams other then hopeing for a cure for the virus. She did not even knew when things could get worse. Her life was being controlled by it. It admired this person in front of her even more. Especially when he explained that she was the inspiration for his hard work. Confused she looked up at him as he said it. “Me?” But then he continued that everything around him were the things he worked hard for. For a moment she needed to fight the moment to slap his face. She made the movement to slap him but did not really slap him at all as her hand was not even touching his face and there was a grin on her face. “Still the same. Yeah I do remind me that.” She said as she remembered him as he always was trying to bully her with just the use of his words. There were moments he was saying something she liked, he paused and then added something else to make it completely different.
Then something popped up in her mind as she realized he had worked for her father. “How is my father doing..” She asked as the worry was noticeable in her voice. She knew he probably was missing her too, but she hoped he was okay. She just wanted to know how he was doing, just so she felt a little bit closer to him.

SEIRYU DATHÍ X X [25] [male] [Government] [Head of Atlas] _______________________________________________________[/center] The blue-haired man flinched as she raised a hand against him, though he continued to grin like a child. He had almost expected this sort of reaction, but he hoped she didn't take his teasing to heart. It had just been so long since he'd had someone to play with; to relax and joke around. It had all been work this and serious matter that, so he had decided to sneak out of his personal guards' view to escape to this park. Well, he hadn't meant to wander to this park, and he was sure his guards were still secretly following him even now, but it was better than nothing.
He rubbed the back of his head, ruffling up the hair that captured so many gazes. Still the same? He wasn't sure if that was a compliment or not, but he still laughed none-the-less. She always said something to cheer him up, even if it wasn't on purpose or she didn't notice it. It was just a little quirk that she had,and he enjoyed it whenever he was in her company. Though he couldn't remember if she'd ever raised her hand to him before, though if she had she would've only been tiny to him in comparison, so he had probably laughed it off then too.
Her question caused his laughing to die down to nothing. He looked to his hands which now rested in his lap till he started to fidget, moving so one foot rested on the seat of the bench, with his elbow leaning on his knee and his chin on his hand. Give him a question about the research into the virus, and he would answer easily. Ask him about his plans for the future of Atlas, and he would not hesitate in reply. But Hannah asking about her father tightened his nerves and troubled him about how to answer. He had heard the worry in her voice, and didn't want to make it any worse. "Your father..." He sighed. Why was he hesitating? He would never joke like earlier about such a delicate subject, so he got straight to it and looked to her. "Well, he seems like he's taking care of himself at least. The only thing that worries me is the latest virus research, and the crowding he's been getting..." he rubbed his smooth chin before quickly continuing. Damn, he'd need to learn to grow out of the habit of pausing as he spoke... "But don't worry, he knows what he's doing and looks to be in pretty good shape." He wouldn't tell her how looks could be deceiving, but maybe he could arrange for them to meet some time? It was just heart breaking to see them apart...

His reaction made her worried right at the moment. Did something had happened he wanted to save her from knowing it? It would explain the sudden change in emotion, but his words were saying otherwise. That he was okay, and even doing fine. “I guess that’s nothing new.” Hannah said as Seiryu replied that her father was doing great. That he had been working with the latest technology to work for a cure for the virus. Yet if he would have found it the newspaper would be filled with it to share it with the rest of the world. However the pages still were filled with other information no one was caring about. New victims, a fifth stage of the virus. News that Hannah always skipped. “At least I’m glad he seems okay. I miss him”. She was sure about it that her father was missing her too. Hannah had her grandma to talk to and have her company, but her father didn’t have any family around him. After the loss of her mother, his wife, he always had been a quieter person. Now she was forced to move to Atlas, and she already was living there for a few months. Who knew how much longer she would have to stay here. If they even would find a cure for this virus.
For as much Hannah knew the virus already was on the earth for many years but it still was getting stronger and better, not letting itself eliminated by medicines. It was already a miracle she still was in the first stage of the virus. As if her body was stronger then the virus keeping it under control. It was a relieve for her as she saw how some other Neogena’s were looking and feeling. She had met a few that were in the fourth stage, as people first were thinking it was the last stage, and they were looking quite horrible. Really sick, and most of all they were changing in looks. Some were having a scaled skin or having claws instead of hands. It gave the young girl nightmares about the idea. She didn’t wanted to end like that. She did not wanted to become a monster. So she was glad she was in the first stage.

SEIRYU DATHÍ X X [25] [male] [Government] [Head of Atlas] _______________________________________________________[/center] Seiryu watched the younger girl as she took in the information. He wondering what she was thinking about to have that expression on her face, and wondered if her thoughts had trailed from the original subject. It wouldn't surprise him really. There was so much going on in the world of today that there would be indeedmany things to think about. He put his hands behind his head and leaned back enough to look up at the sky. He was surprised at himself for feeling just a little bit jelous. All she had to do about it was think. He on the other hand, had to do something. It was what came with being a Government Head, though he wasn't complaining. It gave him a sense of purpose, a drive to help his people.
He sighed and closed his eyes softly. Oh well. He would think about that another time. This rare moment with a long lost companion was his time off, and he would not spoil it with the thoughts of viruses and deaths. He tilted his head so she was in his view out of the corner of his eye, and looked at her for what she truely was. Now, he certainly wasn't known for judging by people's looks, but he couldn't help but pity the poor thing. Her hair stood out just as much as his did, and screamed out what she was underneath. Though he hadn't asked her any details about the virus coursing through her body, he was certain she would be in first or second stage. He'd had the priveledge of meeting all sorts of Neogenas, and knew the differences based on their 'mutations'. As far as he could see, only her hair and eyes had change, which meant little mutation; thus only first or second stage. Of course, he could be wrong - he couldn't see through her clothes...
He abruptely looked back to the sky and seemed to find something interesting to do with his hair for a while. He was infact distracting himself from his previous thoughts by trying to figure out what was wrong with his own hair on the spot, as if all the answers would magically come to him then and there. It had always bothered him, even from a young age. It had also bother his father, he could tell. He'd never said anything infront of him, but he had heard some of their arguements, that often included the nature of his birth, and if he really was his father. His mother would always profusely deny any affairs, and he believed her. He knew he was his father's son, even if at times he didn't want to be. But that still didn't explain the strange discolouration...
He suddenly realised he had been sat in silence for at least ten minutes, and didn't even know if Hannah had spoken to him, having been that lost in his own thoughts. He'd also twirled a few bits of his hair so they stuck out at odd angles, and didn't realised this as he looked to her with an appologetic smile. "I'm sorry, I get lost in my own thoughts too easily..."

Hannah looked at Seiryu when his mind seemed to keep him busy. There probably was something that made him think about something about something she had said. When he closed his eyes she looked at him with worry. Was he okay? It reminded her she wasn’t feeling so horrible anymore. Her headace was gone and she wasn’t feeling sick anymore either. Glad with that a grin appeared on her face. Somehow his appearance or at least his presence was enough for her to feel good again.
Suddenly his movement made her back away from him in surprise. Hannah had noticed he had been looking at her on a way that was as if he did it secretly. However when she answered his stare and looked him in the eyes he avoided to look at her on such a sudden moment she expected it was her fault. As if she had looked weird. Of course she did not realized what the real reason was. It would never pop up in her mind anyway because she always had seen him as an older brother and not as a possible lover. That was just not what she was feeling for the man next to her.
The long silence that followed was bothering the young neogena. Hannah was used of it because all the moments she had spend alone. Also there always were people who were looking at her in disgust as if she would change into a stinky huge insect if they would talk to her. It didn’t even bothered the female anymore. However with Seiryu she wasn’t used of any silence. When she had been younger and she was together with him there hardly were any moments that they both were quiet. There always had been something to say or talk about. Yet now, they haven’t seen each other for years, they were not able to talk about something even really simple. They both have changed too much maybe. She had been infected with the virus her whole life but it only started to show signs on a older age. He had become an important person in the government, just like her father. She would understand it all completely if he didn’t wanted to talk or see her anymore. After all her decease was a threat for his position in the government.
“Is there something wrong?” She asked as she looked at him. “Did I do something wrong?” A mental voice answered her question by telling her that her biggest mistake was getting born and become infected by the virus her mother was carrying. Her mother had died from It and maybe it was just better if she was having that same fate. She only was a bother for the people she loved the most. Her family did said always that they would love her no matter what. But wasn’t that something family was supposed to say? She knew her father only was saying such things only to make her feel better. Sadly none of those words were having that effect on her and instead she only was feeling worse. She started to hate the virus and herself because of it.

SEIRYU DATHÍ X X [25] [male] [Government] [Head of Atlas] _______________________________________________________[/center] The blue haired man blinked in surprise, wondering what on earth his companion was on about. What could she have done wrong? All she'd done was sit on a bench and put up with his teasing... He was suddenly reminded of a pair of Neogena he'd once met; they had been so withdrawn and self-loathing that he'd just wanted to hug all their worries away. He'd even thought about adopting a few into his spacious home, but was strongly advised against it as it would have caused the public to become upset with the unfair choice - he couldn't adopt every Neogena, so they wouldn't see it as fair that some got chosen while others didn't. He had paced along his room that night, cursing how unfair it was on him; he had to just sit around and wait while scientists looked for a cure. It was all he was good for - a face the people could believe in to help them in this time of need.
He simply smiled softly, knowing - but not fully understanding - her feeling of self-loathing. Taking one shuffle closer to her, he moved to wrap his arms around her. His father had been the one to incur his almost phobia of the illness; not of the illness itself, but of catching it. From a young age, he'd always found ways of 'protecting' himself from it, but sitting here, with his old friend, made him realize what a fool he'd been. In his father's time, the virus had been something unexplainable, but now, as they'd researched more into it, it was known to be there since birth. Thinking back to all the family photos of himself, he had known deep down that there was a chance he'd had it all along. Even though his father had been adamant that the tests had come out negative, he hadn't believed it in his heart. All the times he'd been ill, his unusual hair colour that reminded him so much of his ill mother... He moved his arms tighter around Hannah, resting his head against her shoulder. "Never, even in a thousand years, could you do something wrong." He smiled and moved to look her in the eye, still holding her shoulders gently. "You are a kind hearted, sweet young woman who deserves so much more in life than hiding away."
To hell with what his 'advisers' say.
"Why not come stay at my place? We could make it like the good 'ol days" He grinned, moving his hands so they were back to resting behind his head as he looked to the sky, wondering if she'd think of him as mad. Well, maybe he was. But if he could just make one person happy, someone who really deserved it, it would all be worth it.

Hannah always blamed herself it was something she always have done and now it almost was automatically when she blamed herself and the virus about everything that happened around her. There was a silence between them. An silence that was too uncomfortable for the female as she did not knew where the man next to her was thinking about and for a moment she had another wish of being able to read mind. As if she would get such ability as she was more infected by the virus. Only a fool could imagine that. She opened her mouth a few times to say something so she could break the silence but every time she shut it as she did not knew what to say. Her mind refused to help her right now and for a moment she could only look at him without really noticing what she was looking at. However he again was the one to break the silence between the two as he said her that there was no way she could do anything wrong. She felt a heat coming on her face as a blush was growing with those words he spoke.
Suddenly she was totally aware of the way he was looking at her, and also that his hand was located on her shoulder. It made the young female blush even more and a weak smile was on her face as she just could stare at him. Did she deserve more than this life? Then why was she the one infected with the virus. As she asked that herself mentally a voice was telling her that it wasn’t her fault. Her mother had been infected by the virus and she only should be happy that she was alive. Basically she was only in the first stage of the virus, which was not so special yet. She should have been happy. Then his comment surprised her even more. Staying with him? “You are serious about that?” She asked in a whisper? Completely surprised by that sudden offer. It would be a lot of help for her and her family would not need to bother about her anymore. She would be at one of the most saves place on earth. She was sure her father wouldn’t mind as he and Seiryu’s father have been working together for a long time. It would also be less stressful for her grandmother who had seemed to need the rest and not to worry about her grandchild every day. It would be.. perfect.

SEIRYU DATHÍ X X [25] [male] [Government] [Head of Atlas] _______________________________________________________[/center] "Hey, you really think I'm that mean to joke about something like this? Though, it may have been fun to see your expression..." he grinned, trying to joke around to loosen her up a bit. She'd really gotten quite... solemn since he'd last seen her. Though he supposed she had been quite young back then, and everyone's happy and carefree in their naive, younger days. He couldn't imagine what she'd been through to make her quite skeptical and self-loathing. This whole 'Neogena' thing must really be hard on people's lives...
"Of course I'm serious - They've given me too much space in that house and it needs filling - You're just the person I need to do that" Again, a grin plastered on his face as he looked to her. He was sure it would be a better life for her. Protection, warmth, food. Protection. Sure, he may get a bit of trouble from some of the other Government members, but he didn't think they'd cause too much trouble as she was a friend, and related to a high ranking Government figure. Unless they didn't care for their position, he didn't think they'd give much trouble at all. Plus, she could get all the care she needed. First hand nurses to wait on her should she need it. Sure, there wasn't much for actually relieving her pain, but he was sure she would feel better if she was more secure and safe, rather than hiding out here with just some far off relative to look after her. Who was looking after her anyway...?
He swung his legs under the bench before pushing off it. He didn't even notice himself putting his mask back on - it just came naturally to him (He'd really need to get out of this habbit sometime - It wasn't sending a good message to the others). But he offered her his hand. "Let's go fetch your stuff, eh?" Even though his mask was covering his mouth, the glow in his eyes would tell anyone that he was beaming a happy smile.
